Does anyone remember if the perimeter road surrounding Dau Teing was hard pack clay or paved in 1969-70? I believe the road to the bridge was asphalt, but my memory is a little faded on that point to. Anyone remember?

Rick, the roads in Dau Tieng were hard packed clay, called laterite.  Never saw a paved road in Dau TieTieng.  Not sure of the road to the bridge.  Was on Bravo, 2/2 (M) Oct  68b thru redeployment in April 70.
