DRAC 96R checking from HOT and DRY Houston, TX.
Thirty days of over 100 temps and 1" rain in the last 200 days. Can't afford to water and keep the grass green. Looks like we are not going to get any rain from the TS Lee.

Hope everyone is well.

Good evening to all--Daniels checking in to see what's been going on? Had a nice day in SW Ia. today--99 in the shade. Could be worse tho-after the Mighty Mo. River has gone down some they have found that several miles on Interstate 29 is gone. Lot's of money to fix and will put some people back to work-but didn't need all the damage--Billions of dollars worth of flooded towns completey gone from the floods and many people have no where to go--bad deal!! Take care all my BRO's and take care!!

Hello, from Puerto Rico.
I am here since last Wed. I met a guy that was with the 2/2 in Nam, I gave him the web site so he can communicate with everyone. His last name is Colon.
I came down to place flowers on my Dad and stepmother tomb.

I had a serious loss in my family.  My modem died after 12 years, and I finally broke down with a new confuser, which I am still trying to figure out.

I now can open yahoo, so got a new email addy there.  You can click on it and use it instead of the one you presently have.

I still CANNOT open videos or utube so please DO NOT send them to me.  It will probably be several years b4 we get high speed or cell phones.

Goodbye Windows 98, hello Windows 7.

BTW  This one is even slower than my old one.  Must be the external modem (this is a laptop)

We are not out of the stone age yet.   We still have a bankrupt phone company (Fairpoint) with no view of hi-speed in the next several years.  We have a tribe of 14 wild turkeys that come thru my property daily, and I may try to train them to carry messages.

As far as the dearly departed modem, there will be no graveside services nor memorials, rather, I may place it on eBay a collectible antique.  I may get as much as $1.33 for it.

Hey Jimmy l like the cap, very impressive, very impressive. Juan be careful going back to visit the Nam, watch out those mosquitos, and old short time girls, ha,ha, ha, and watch out for BBS's MAMA-san, you will easily recognize her by her pretty prune face and kissable soft lips just waiting to welcome you back to Vietnam..visit the tree that we both urinated on Highway 13 "Thunder Road" back in December 1967...ha, ha, ha.  Hve a nice time and come back safe and sound.

Here's a real eye opener.  While googleing around the internet I ran across the web site of a Residential and Industrial Park at Bau Bang.

I was taken back to say the least.  Thunder Road has made quite the transition.

The site is: http://www.becamex.com.vn/en/ip/uhmicg033448
