All's well on the Florida Suncoast , typical Florida July weather , hot and humid. Reminds me of that other " vacation paradise" we all visited many moons ago. We will tough it out as long as the A/C keeps working and the beer can be kept cold we'll be just fine.Have a great and safe July.

How in the hell did we get to August so quick? The good thing is football is starting, Go Irish and Da Bears!!! Everything here on Florida's Suncoast is typical for this time of year hot and humid with afternoon rains. Hope this finds everyone out there healthy and in good spirits. Speaking of spirits I think I'll end this and go have a cold one.

Hello October ! Holloween is just around the corner and the presidential election is not far behind. I don't know which one is scarier! One candidate hurts some people's feelings with what he says at times the others actions have actually caused loss of lives and endangered the security of the U.S. I'll take the hurt feelings guy !! We all fought for this great country I just hope our children and grandchildren get to enjoy it before the people in power ruin it. Enjoy the fall, this is a great time of year on Florida's Suncoast.

Checking in from Upstate New York. Still in a drought here. Farmers lost over half of there Corn and Soy Bean crops this year. Apple crop did a little better. Only one cutting of hay in most areas. Very unusual for this part of the country. Hope everyone is doing well.

Checking in for October from Lake Gaston NC. Things are beginning to slow down on the lake and that is fine with me. Fall is my favorite time of year with the cooler temps and the colors.

I was with A Co 1-2 1963 to 1966  D co 1-2 69-70  Have yet to find anyone from either Co. Maybe we did not exist. I do have a lot of pictures of the operation that found and started the black scarf.

Hello my BROthers, well after cancer surgery in May and a bunch of other residual issues I am finally feeling good and ready to rock and roll. Great to be back on the site with you again. I still have some recovery ahead and the VA said Pancreatic cancer does not qualify for a rating, oh well I place my future in the hands of my Lord not the VA.

Virginia is safe at this point as I am back on duty and holding down the fort. God bless you one and all.
