Juan and Carmen Glad you both arrived home OK and had a enjoyable time on your trip. Would like one of your cd's of your trip if possible. Hard to imagine how different everything looks now. TY
This Mike Walden from Central California. Starting to get cold with storms from Alaska. The old bones are warning me to make bigger fires to keep warm. Can't wait for summer. God bless all. Mike

I have been back to vietnam 9 times.I have been as far north and south that there are roads.I have flown, train and bus.you can go to chu chi and tour the tunnels, they have inproved this tourist area alo since my first time in 2001.Cambodia is a good place to visit.I have flown and traveled by vip bus,it has a toliet.before they improved the tourist buses if you had to make a pit stop they pulled over and you got off and flagged the next one coming by.once you leave tay ninh and got your visa at the cambodian border (25.00 us) you travel back in time. cambodia has hotels to fit every one billfold.Vietnam has john deere tractors cambodia still mostly use water buffalo.i would love to have a mini reunion in vietnam with the men from 2nd inf.regit.I promise you. I have never taken any body that has not been back or wants to.I have been as cheap as 859.00 and paid as much as 1500.00 Christmas and TET is the most expensive time to visit Vietnam,Alot of Vietnamese Americans travel back.I knew Juan and his wife would enjoy the trip.

Juan, checking in from Florida. For those brothers that went with me to Vietnam in 1965 and were at the Battle of Ap-Nha-Mat please say a prayer tomorrow December 5. On December 5th 1965 the 2/2 was ambushed at the the Ap-Nha-Mat area. We lost lot of our brothers in that battle. May they rest in Peace. On Friday I spend the day with Sgt Leonidas Raisis daughter and his 2 sisters, he was killed on that day. I saw her when she say good bye to her father at the parking lot of the company at Ft Devens, before we boarded the buses for the airport. I think that she was about 4-5 years old. Thank you. Be careful out there. Juan (aka The Saint). B co 2/2 1964 to 1965. Vietnam 1965 to 1970.

Ron A2/2 4th plt. 68-69. Checking in for the month. I just returned from a great week at deer camp in north central Pa. A great week with a great bunch of guys. There were only 6 of us in camp this year and we only got one deer, but it was a real nice 8 point buck with a 17 inch spread. One of the guys is a 92 year old WW2 vet, and the rest are young guys. They had lots of questions about our war experiences. It felt kind of good to share with them and really great to hear stories from WW2.
