Sit -rep for August on Florida's Suncoast is normal, hot and humid. So far we have avoided the types of fires ravaging the west ,and all the flooding across the Midwest, upper southeast and eastern seaboard . Hoping all of you in those areas fared well.

It is with great sadness to say our brother Roger Beeman has passed from this earth, yesterday at 2:30 pm from a blood clot that traveled to his lungs... His wife Sandy asked me to inform his Pigeon Forge friends...

October is here and fall has started , though it's hard to tell here on Florida's Suncoast with temperatures still in the 90s. 50 yrs ago this month I turned 21 at Bandit Hill. We had many differences in our great country then but the craziness going on now seems to defy all logic. Hope civility and common sense returns before it's too late.

Hello November! The season for giving thanks for all our blessings. Also the month where we get the chance to use one of our greatest freedoms,Voting. How ever you are voting for make sure you do it. A lot of good people died to give and keep this privilege. Wishing all a great November from Florida's Suncoast.
