Sergio, the fish got revenge back on the next game. Do not under estimate the fish they can get to you any time. Remember 2 rings in less than 10 years---1997--2003----I got one of them.

Hello Juan:

Yep they sure did; but wasn't the series a slugest.

I remember their 2 World Series triumps, wasn't one against the Yankees - something unbelieveable 5 or 6 games, or was it 4;  one time it was El Duque, and another time it was Livan.

Wasn't Joe Girardi their coach last year!

By the way we were in St. Pete  in late April;  took in a Rays game;  as I recall they won, but there was nothing for a crowd that night.  I hope their attendance has been going up since then.  First time in a dome for us, what a strange feeling when you're used to outdoor games!.

Go Rays, so Rockies can beat up on you in the World Series after embarking on their newest win streak!

  Sergio

P.S.:  Say I've got some great baseball faces, but can't figure out how to get them on here;  any suggestions.

Sergio,
U think the thingy to add pictures is either broken or the site is full. I tried last a few months ago, and have not seen a new picture since. I have a few good ones to put up too, ones I took, like of Tony Conigliaro, Johnny Pesky etc.

As for the Rays, they will fold in the summer heat, AC indoors or not. The Bosox are likely the team, barring more injuries. Hell, Schilling is out for the year, Big Papi on the DL, Manny hurting with a pulled hamstring, Timlin just back in the pen.

Even so, we took 2 of 4 in NY, and should have won all 4.

Can't wait to see your Rockies facing Papelbon in the ninth. Tell him, Juan. You will see him do his stuff in the All Star game.

The Red Sox approach this game we call baseball as a business, and business is winning.

Mike, I have been waiting for an opportunity to use that line about the armadillo and I just couldn't pass up the chance. I don't know much about baseball---I have noticed that Juan likes to brag about a team called the "Florida Flounders" I believe---Take care. Bob C 2/2  1966-67.

Hey Bob you really had me going there good buddy, I remember the Cav and their APC'S and they'd have all kind of things painted on the sides of their machines, like armadillos or flounders or hell I don't know! Ya gotta be kind of careful because something like a little name could bring back alot of flashbacks, like here I am out of bed again checking the perimeter, can anyone relate to me out their???

Nothing is broken and Kerins has taken care of the space issue.  If the photos are already digitized there are some video instructions that were made for another message board but will work just as well on this one.  Click here.

If the photos are not digital and need to be scanned we can work something out.  I volunteer Kerins to coordinate.

Flyboy,

I have dial-up and CANNOT view videos, even PDFs are a problem.

Can you post instructions in plain text?

Or is it the same way to post as in the past?

The method of posting photos has not changed.  If you've done it in the past you should have no problem.  I'll see what I can do about written instructions.

Mike,
You shouldn't have to get up in the wee hours to check your perimeter.

Don't you remember the "Mousetraps?" Mousetrap, plastic c rat spoon. PRC 25 battery, trip wire, etc. Remember, hook up the battery last, and out of the KZ.

Saint, you once answered a lady's e-mail about how to find an "after battle report". I've been looking for that response without success. Would you care to tell me again. Thanks, Rob

Rob, an after battle report, I don't know maybe you can check with the army records---How about one of you warriors out there can you help Rob please.

Sergio, the 1997 Marlins Manager was Mr. Lyland, and the 2003 manager was Mr. Mckeon, yes last year was Mr. Garaldi.
This year is my friend and co-worker Freddy Gonzales....

Be aware of those Marlins they can win any time.

GO! Marlins!!!!!!

Juan:

I was referring to the pitchers on those fish teams.  It seems to me that El Duque pitched for the Marlins in their first series win (and than recognized the error of his ways and went to the big times - namely the New York Yankees) and his brother Livan Hernandez pitched for the Marlins in their second world series win (and I think he won two games against the Yankees).

Rockies are on their one game winning streak again, now all they've got to do is win 6 more on the road before getting home; and they'll be well on their well to pullin another "amazings' this year.

Rob,
What you are looking for are ORLL's (Operation Reports, Lessons Learned) and After Action reports. Contact your local DAV NSO and even if you are not a member, they can help you file for the. Most likely you will only get them on a Division level, bot possibly battalion in some instances.

Tell the NSO if it is for a specific purpose, ie. herbicide operations, as there are more things you will want to file for.

Binh Duong Province was about the 4th most heavily sprayed province in SVN.

To keep this on thread point, the Bosox won again over the twins, 1-0 last nite

Sergio, Livan Hernandez brother El Duque which is half brother to Livan, never pitch for the Marlins, the guy who pitch on the first world series was Alex Fernandez--he have to quit baseball due to an injury to his shoulder--he reside in Miami. Yes Livan pitch on the first world series and won the game against the Cleveland Indians, In 2003 the winner was Josh Beckett which tore a new A-hole to the Yank's--Hoooaaahh.

Later. Go! Marlins!!!! down with the Yankee's.
