Hi Guys I'm making Roll Call finally. I served with the Daring Bravo Bandits in the 3rd platoon Track 231 from 9 December 1967 to 10 December 1968 under the commands of CPT Gratzer, CPT Burke and CPT Hansen. I fought in every battle that the B 2/2 Infantry was engaged in from Claymore Corners 6 Jan 1968 (Mother's Birthday), Ben Cat two times (once when the VC terrorized the village inmid Jan1968 and on 31 Jan 1968 the night when TET started, TET 31 Jan 1968-13 Feb 1968, 3 April 1968, Bunker complex end April 1968, Rome Plow Operation from 1 May-31 May 1968, Song Be 1,2,3,4 (July, August, Septemer), Bandit Hill Oct 1968. Iron Triangle August 1968. Became squad leader "B 31" in late August 1968 as a SP4.  Did not enjoy Thunder Runs at night, land mimes, and RPG's.  Favorite C-Ration meal was peaches, pound cake and turkey loaf.  I wrote the article in the 1st Division Bridgehead  A Soldiers Story "The Battle on 3 April 1968". Good to be home with the Ramrods again under better conditions, but would go back into battle anytime with all of you even though We Were Soldiers and Once Young, but seasoned Combat Veterans of Foreign Wars now!
