Urgency to pass the Satrialie’s catalog, sorry the stimulus package. Urgency to nationalize banks and car companies, I mean bring us back from the brink! Urgency to a pass health-care system take over; excuse me ‘insurance reform’! Urgency to pass Cap & Tax! Urgency to panic people over swine flu! Urgency to act on ‘climate change’! Urgency to stifle free speech and dilute the Constitution! But a truly urgent request from Afghanistan, Obama’s “GOOD War”, for more troops to stave off potential ‘mission failure’ – LOSE; well that goes on the back burner for review whenever Obie and the thugs get around to it. It’s only the lives of our troops, certainly nothing urgent to this administration! Right now Obie and friends are too busy creating crisis to use to grab power, they can't be expected to deal with an actual, real crisis like war. |

Reply with quote | #2 | how true this is. the dumocrats and nobama are to concerned with how they are going to turn this nation into a socialist, nanny state, and how to cater to our enemies rather than help our troops defend this nation from terrorist and thug nations.

Lar, A friend of my son’s was a pilot patrolling one of the post-Gulf War no-fly zones in Iraq. He said he was regularly targeted by radar and other pilots had been fired on. That alone broke the Gulf War cease fire. He certainly thought we should have acted sooner. Saddam never proved he had destroyed the WMDs he was known to have had (and used). That was in violation of numerous UN Resolutions. Congress, given all the intelligence, information similar to that which had been gathered during the Clinton administration, overwhelmingly authorized President Bush to use force. The UN authorized the use of force. Over 30 nations, with their own intelligence services, took part in the coalition. How is all that, “…nothing other than lies and personal reasons they made up”? Whether you agree with the Iraq War or not, you can’t say that President Bush ever ignored the US soldier, or took their service for granted. This administration, as most of the far left does, detest the military and look at it only as a tool of our imperialism. It’s all (any problem anywhere) our fault. Just ask the apologizer in chief. Really a pathetic state of affairs. |

Reply with quote | #5 | one thing for sure, bush and cheny didn't bow down to an arab leader and apologize to all of those little third world nut jobs . we as a nation do not owe any of those people an apology. obama is a punk and so are the rest of those clowns he has around him. i would give you a penny for a whole train load just like them. nobama has talked a lot about doing great things for this country, he hasn't done squat. if his mouth is moving, he is lying!!!!!!. goodaim, you fought for this country, i respect that, i also respect the fact you have a right to your opinion just like the rest of us do. i know how i feel about what is going on in this country, and i don't like it at all, and come next year, if my reps in d.c. are not doing what i feel like they should, whether they are dem or rep, i going to vote against them, and the same goes for 2012. that's how the system is supposed to work. a lot of people went into this election without really looking at what the consequences would be if they voted for this maggot that is in office. they listen to his bs and didn't pay attention to the real message.

Reply with quote | #6 | Got to love a board were you can say what you want with no fear of being moderated or cramed behind closed doors where only the other 5 posters can see. You also have to love it because you can say what you want be it left or right and know the men reading it might not like it but have defended your right to say it with their life.
John ma boy, don't give me that crap about your sweetheart Dubya doing all he could for the troops. Had he put about two minutes of thought into it we would have never gone to Iraq in the first place and by now had Afghanistan cleaned up and the Taliban and Al Quida destroyed. Lets face it we gave your boy Dubya eight long years and he had a hard time getting his home address right.
But since we are there and have givin so much in blood I for one am happy to see OB taking his time and listening to his Generals (rather than Rummy) as to the best way to end these wars and get us the hell out of the middle east.
harold has once again hit the nail on the head when he say's 2012 is your chance for change, so get your business together and try to find some young people, perhaps an ethnic group or two and some of the people that watch MSN instead of Fox and just maybe you can oust the dude.
Good Luck Goodaim Pete where the hell are you, call me and leave me a number to get back to you on.

When CJCS Admiral Mullen appeared before Congress, and especially when LTG McChrystal was confirmed as commander of US Forces in Afghanistan, the present strategy and ANTICIPATED TROOP LEVELS were laid out. By approving LTG McChrystal, whom Obama had nominated, the President and Congress approved his strategy also. It’s not so much a question of Obama considering new alternatives, it is the troops reliance on Obama’s agreement to ‘resource’ the agreed upon plan. But this shouldn’t have been unexpected. Remember how Sen. Reid within two months of confirming Gen Petraeus and the ‘surge policy’ said the war was lost, even before the surge had fully deployed. Obama’s campaign rhetoric of Afghanistan being the “good war’, the one we have to win, was just a smokescreen to hide his leftwing anti-war, (check that; like all radicals in anti-war movements make that anti-American) agenda. A façade from behind which he could continue to attack the Bush’s Iraq War, yet still strong, or at least less weak, on defense. It all appears more typical of the radical leftwing’s rhetoric of supporting the troops when in reality they revile them. Another Vietnam sellout on the way? |

****** Larry - PeterConlon@Cox.net or Elders17@hotmail.com
Take your pick .
************ Refections on GWB post 9/11 and decisions made thereafter as compared to our current "Leader"
********* The Left despised Bush before 9/11/01 and most relented for about 2 weeks after 9/11. All Bush did really was allow the Bastards to solidify after he decided to take out Saddam Hussein.
******** GWB post 9/11 should have gotten a Fully Legal Declared War - but chose not to upon the advice of Corporate friens & family plus nervous Allies. He also knew that such a move might spin out of control and REALLY disrupt Petroleum from the Gulf and ALSO how do you LEGALLY go to War without calling for domestic sacrifice ?????? He knew that.
******* Roughly half the US population wants no part of any sacrifice and he probably would not have been reelected in 2004 if he wen that route AND doing something his Father failed to do was Ultra Important. It really is that simple.
******* He made the Iraq call based upon the est THEN evidence which few THEN disputed. I was against it , but I doubt even putting half a Million into Afghanistan in 2002 would have finished the Taliban simply because of the terrain & History. They'll wait us out.
******* Obama is pulling out of both Wars ASAP unless some Major events alters his quiet plans. He owes too much to the Hard Left to do otherwise.
****** Barry is the Guy White Liberals have dreamed about for years. For them it's going to be a hard Wake up Call or an unpleasant wakeup period.

Marshall Prange sent me an e-mail that had a U tube comparison of our troops greeting President Bush vs. greeting Chairman MaObama, the 12th Imam. They greeted Bush with what sounded like an F-4 phantom straffing the jungle w/ it's 20mm cannons. The Imam was greeted w/ what sounded like applause from 5-10 limpwristed mice. The Marines seem less than enthusiastic w/ the Imam. The Imam was denied by the families of all but 1 of our18 deceased heroes, permission for his photo op. That was his recent early morning visit to an Air Force Base. I want to use terms to descibe Hussien that are real unflattering. Is he a narsacist to the point of illness? |

Reply with quote | #17 | John : that is the exact one to which I referred. thanks for posting it brother. I am glad you could find and post it.
when President Bush spoke of our troops he often got emotional about them. He was a CinC we could believe in and was for the troops. Now..........the Imam is an actor and insincere as the day is long. The Imam is sincere about one THING...... himself.
I hope you and all the guys have a great weekend. Thanks again for the post.
