hey 2nd inf rgt soldiers,   frank beitzel has found another one of our guys.        hes found, james t metcalf weopons plt nco 66-67.  franks on a roll.   weve found a few guys from a, b, n hq co.   were makin a roster for those companies to forward to division assn n this one.   keep up the good work frank.         thanks, johnny johnston c/1/2 66 67 3rd plt

  Johnny,  Do you have any idea as to how many 1/2 [battalion] guys have been found? And if so what is the break down per company?

Hey Johnny The wife found the web site and there a some memories that were not all bad. I the one when was called Grab-her or Grabber Dave Washington and I were in the same platoon   How do I send a photo or two.

hey bob, welcome home.   weve been lookin for you for years.   knew you were in buffalo but ya had unlisted number.  i was right behind you n blaize when yall got peppered with the m79.   im sure glad yall could crawl back on yalls on.  you would have been a chore to drag back.   i took over point after yall were dusted off n i was sure scared.   we made no more contact that day.  weve found blaize too.   weve found maybe 50 or 60 men and relatives.  snuffy smiths son would sure like to talk to you.  he misses his daddy and is starved to death for info on him.   i told him all i could remember.   im apurpleheart@aol.com       johnny johnston, was from roland, ar.
