Mark, was a great leader of men.  He was our company commander for the newly formed Delta Company, Black Scarf Battalion 1/2.  July 1967.  He was  a no nonsense commander. Highly respected from those of us that knew him.
It was great to see Mark at the Reno Reunion of The Society of The First Infantry Division, I believe that was in 2001 or2002.
It is hard to believe that he is gone.
Rest In Peace Mark. We will keep on marching, Sir."

Rest in peace old friend.

You, and your stories and unique observations will be missed.

Knowing you, you may have figured time to get out of Buffalo Bayou before the flood.

So long Jeffe!
