Checking in from upstate NY. Got over 4 feet of lake effect snow off lake Ontario the last couple of days. Snow blower has earned its keep. Going to Myrtle Beach at the end of the month for a little getaway and a few rounds of golf. Other than the snow all is well here.

Checking in for Feb. All is good at lake Gaston N.C. The weather is typical for NC extreme cold one day and them 60s the next day.

All is well here on Florida’s suncoast, hoping those of you in areas hit by the polar vortex cold are thawed out. I moved from northern Illinois 50 years ago partly because of the nasty winter weather, and have never regretted it.I’d rather sweat then freeze any day.

April is here and all is well here on the Florida Suncoast. Snow birds are starting to leave and soon the roads will be less congested and the wait at our favorite restaurants will be shorter.
